TQHA has hired Elizabeth Christian Public Relations (ECPR) in Austin, Texas to outline a strategy to create a media & public campaign to educate Texans (legislators & public) about the impact & long-lasting implications of a potential defunding of the Texas Racing Commission. If funds are still available, ECPR will work on a campaign May/June 2017 for elected officials on the importance & potential options for the future of the horse industry in Texas prior to the upcoming Legislative Session in 2017.

With the help of an Economic Impact Study of the Texas horse industry currently underway, we will seek council from Associations, Industry professionals, legal and lobby advisors.
